Street monster
Thursday, August 19, 2010 at 9:21PM I love street art just as much as the next person....But more than the person before me.
What?
Look what I found while wandering the other day:

Positive, creative energy - that is what street art is TRULY about. Telling a story and making someone think.

Found: Anthropologie
Why it's Fancy: I've had kind of a ridiculous obsession with these striped paper straws. Let's be honest, they get kinda mushy. But they're so pretty, festive and fun! This is just a regular, run of the mill iced coffee...But add the striped straw and...Bada bing bada boom! It just tastes much better slurped through this find.
Here comes the rain again

Marco? Polo?
Friday, August 6, 2010 at 8:11AM Oh, hi!
Wow, it's been a really busy week. Can you tell? I got a job, for those of you keeping track. Actually, the day I posted my last Funemployment entry was just a few days prior to when I actually was offered a job. I feel so lucky. I know so many people have been looking for months and months. From my last day of work at my last job to my upcoming first day of work at my new job are 65 days. I thought it would never end, but it did (and now I'm a bundle of nerves waiting for my first day).
Okay, but this isn't about that. This is about how my car broke down and what I found as a result.
The day before yesterday my car broke down near my mom's house (serendipitously). I had hours (and hours) to kill while my car was being fixed so I walked to Target. (Did you expect anything less?) I was walking around aimlessly when this caught my eye:

I fell in love! The pretty teal and heather stripes, brown, knit flower, feminine flutter sleeves.
You're in love, too, aren't you?
It's for toddlers.
Waaaamp waaaaamp.
Can I find the "grown-up" version of this shirt anywhere? Also, since when did kid's clothes become so, um, stylin?
